Outlines is only five weeks away and we’re already excited.
The 100 acts on the bill will be playing in five of the fines venues in Sheffield, including Outlines' first outing to the iconic Leadmill.
The Leadmill is now in its 35th year, and is Sheffield longest running live music venue and nightclub. Hosting some of the biggest live acts in the world including Pulp, Arctic Monkeys and Bloc Party, they will be teaming with Outlines to bring a number of our massive acts to their stage.
Along with the Leadmill, Queens Social Club, Plug, The Harley and Bloc Projects will also be providing stages for the 100 acts joining us this year.
Queens Social Club, with its glitter-curtained stage, is an unusual and intimate space to enjoy live music including the likes of Hookworms, Boxed In, Babe Punch and Hannah Peel.
Meanwhile, Plug has played host to a massive range of acts since opening in 2005 including both live and DJ performances. Outlines hosts The Selecter, Clean Cut Kid and Lady Leshurr plus many more at the venue this year.
The Harley also returns as an Outlines venue, and marks a key spot to check out emerging talent. This year, the Harley will be presenting Blood Sport along with Islet and Blind Saints.
Our fifth venue this year is Bloc Projects, situated in the heart of Sheffield city centre. This artist-led space was opened to support up and coming artists and encourages experimentation with the bands that grace their stages.
This year's revised venues means that, for the first time, Outlines is open to music-lovers aged 14+, meaning that you can catch even more of your new favourite bands.
